Cookies

A cookie is a small note a website leaves in your browser. Elsewhere they run shopping carts, logins and ad trackers. Daily Azalea has none of those, so this leaflet is short on purpose.

When you press OK on the notice at the top of the rack, the site writes a single entry to your browser's local storage, named cuu with the value all. Its only job is to stop the notice from reappearing on every page.

It contains nothing about you, is never sent to our server and cannot be read by any other site.

No analytics: no Google Analytics, no heatmaps, no visit counters. No advertising or retargeting cookies. No social-media buttons that load tracking code. No fonts or scripts fetched from third-party servers; the typefaces are served from our own domain.

Each card on the rack links to the publisher's own site. Those sites may set their own cookies, including advertising ones, as soon as you arrive. Their notices and settings apply there; ours ends at the edge of daily-azalea.com.

Clear site data for daily-azalea.com in your browser. In Chrome this sits under Settings › Privacy and security › Site data; in Safari under Settings › Safari › Advanced › Website Data. The notice simply appears again on your next visit, and private windows discard the entry when they close.

Should we ever add a tool that needs a cookie, a newsletter sign-up for example, it will be listed here with its name, purpose and lifetime before it goes live, and anything non-essential will wait for your consent.

Strictly speaking our setting is not a cookie at all. It lives in local storage, which stays in your browser and, unlike a cookie, is not attached to every request sent to our server. We still describe it here because a notice and a policy about stored settings are what readers expect to find.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing on this site changes, because there is no tracking to switch off. The rack looks and behaves the same whichever settings you use.
